Hello. My name is Takeshi Suga.
I’m a Japanese photographer who’s currently based in Glasgow.
I shoot predominantly for NME. I’ve been on the road with Mogwai, Frank Turner and The Wombats etc. My photography embraces the cover of Remember Remember’s second LP “The Quickening” (Rock Action).
My work has been exhibited in Glasgow, Barcelona and Tokyo. I have recently been featured on Satellite Voices, a new cultural platform set up by Dazed and Swatch.
Components of my photography are nostalgia, sentimentality, euphoria and loneliness. I seek comfort and tranquility in my subjects.
